We
just presented our first blending seminar at the Retreat House on south Maresh
Vineyard.
Several representatives from retailers and restaurants in the Portland metro area came to hear Aron present some of the elements that we used to blend the 2006 Pinot Noirs, and then took a shot at putting together their own blend with the same elements.
We followed with lunch in the
lounge and a short talk by Stirling Fox, who manages south Maresh Vineyard
for us, on the challenges of going from sustainable to organic farming.
